As President of Joanne Cercone Productions, Inc. and Executive Director / Producer of the Mrs. New York America Pageant, Joanne brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Mrs. New York America Pageant.  In September 2006, the Mrs. America Organization honored her with the prestigious Seymour Sietz Award; 2006 Director of the Year! In addition to being a  former Miss Rochester and Miss New York State, she has judged more than 350 pageants, including the Miss USA and Miss America pageant systems! As a professional model and instructor for more than 20 years, she has come to most enjoy coaching others to be their very best in this industry as a pageant trainer for all ages.  Joanne is grateful to have her talents recognized by being recruited as the Host of  "The Secrets to Winning Beauty Pageants",  a nationally distributed pageant training DVD which was produced and released by Shami Production in March 2006.  In addition, she has been cast in a promotional pilot for a  "Beauty Pageant" reality television show.  

Joanne is a Television & Radio Producer and Show Host. She has also enjoyed being a guest on both local and national talk shows. Her first experience on stage came at the age of 4, playing the adult lead role, as a little girl. Joanne's passion for the industry continues through today. Her ultimate dream is to host a national television show and possibly with Disney. Having been to Disney World more than 36 times, it has become her second home and most favorite place to spend time.

As a Motivational Speaker, Joanne conducts seminars for small groups, as well as for large companies. Her goal is to help people to recognize their dreams and to live them to their fullest potential. "Believing in yourself is only half the challenge. The other is to put forth the action to make it all come to life! After all... If you can dream it, YOU CAN LIVE IT!"

In her spare time :-), Joanne works as a pediatric nurse.

Cathy Turner, two time Olympic Gold Medalist in short track speed skating (1992 & 1994), and Silver and Bronze Medalist as anchor of the 3000m Relay Team. She is one of only two people ever to win Gold Medals in consecutive Winter Olympic Games. With a total of four medals, she ranks third for the most medals ever won by a Winter Olympian. We at the Mrs. New York America Pageant are extremely proud of Cathy. Not only for being an outstanding accomplished athlete, but as our dear friend. (per Joanne) "I love her! She is one of the sweetest and most talented people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I am privileged to have her as my dear friend!"

A guest on The Ananda Lewis Show "News, Your Views" was the show title which aired April 24, 2002. Joanne was invited to be a guest discussing the segment addressing the issue: "Should a pageant title holder get to keep her "crown" if she has posed in Playboy?"
