Wednesday,
August 22 - Day One
Shana arrived in beautiful Tucson to start her journey.
Tonight was the wonderful welcome dinner
for all 51 delegates
and the
Mrs. America Pageant staff.

Thursday, August 23 - Day
Two
Today the ladies started their day
with a 1 mile walk, yoga stretch and a wonderful
breakfast by the pool.
There was a formal photo shoot by the resort entrance and another wonderful
dinner.

Friday,
August 24 - Day Three
Today our delegates enjoyed becoming better
acquainted while continuing their Mrs. America journey!
After breakfast, some worked with the production team shooting
promotional spots for the big show.
This evening contained fun and excitement as our lovely
delegates headed to the Governor's Mansion for a dinner party!

Saturday, August 25
- Day Four
Rehearsals begin today for our delegates and they are
enjoying every moment together!
The evening held more fun as they all attended the President's
Dinner with Mrs. America President, Mr. David Marmel.

Sunday,
August 26 - Day Five
Today the delegates visited two museums:
a plane "boneyard" museum which included John F.
Kennedy's Air Force One
and the Tucson Desert Museum. They also visited with
some wildlife.

Monday, August 27
- Day Six
Today, our lovely ladies traveled to the Old Tucson -
Movie Set
Later in the day, they participated in the first
Mrs. America competition: Diaper Changing!
The evening included yet another wonderful dinner together.

Tuesday,
August 28 - Day Seven
A busy day rehearsing...no time for
photos! Sorry!
The Mrs. America Pageant breeds the most amazing
married women in the USA!!!
Wednesday, August
29 - Day Eight
A day off for our contestants.
Many went to Mexico for the day.
Our Mrs. New York America, along with several of the
other
delegates, chose to stay at the resort and relax.

August 30 - Day Nine
Today, our ladies visited a true western
horse ranch. Lots of fun ahead!

Friday,
August 31st -
Day Ten
Today
held lots of fun for our delegates as they continued
their participation
in competition. This time, a golf chipping contest.
They relaxed and enjoyed another fabulous dinner
together here at the
Loews Ventana Canyon Resort! A journey they will
remember forever!!
Saturday,
September 1 - Day Eleven
Pageant Executive
Director, Joanne Cercone, along with her Executive Assistant and
Contestant Coordinator, Liz
arrives in Tucson to lend their support and
assistance to Shana.
Today, the delegates have their
personal interviews with the pageant judges.
Sunday, September 2
- Day Twelve
Tonight the
Preliminary Competition takes place! Sooooooo
exciting!!!!
Enjoy Shana in each preliminary
competition: swimwear, evening gown and state costume.
Our very own New York Pageant
Executive Director and Director of the Year,
Joanne Cercone, performed tonight at the Preliminary Show!
Congratulations to Shana for winning the Publication Award
for the two ads placed in the
Mrs. America Pageant program book.

Monday,
September 3 - Day Thirteen
Our delegates spent
the entire day in rehearsals. You can be sure they were a bit
tired by evening!
After dinner, they had their gift exchange, where each of the
delegates
brought a gift for their new friends! All 51!
While our ladies were exchanging gifts, our State Directors were
enjoying an evening
together with Mrs. America's Co-Founders; David and Elaine Marmel at
the State Director's Reception.

Tuesday,
September 4 - Day Fourteen
Today the delegates spent most of their time
rehearsing outside under the hot Tucson sun!
The State Directors had their annual Director's Breakfast
Meeting.
A long, but productive day for all and one day closer to
learning who are next Mrs. America will be.
Stay tuned! You don't want to miss a thing!!!

September 5 - Day Fifteen
Well,
here we are! The day we learn who will next wear the national
crown and title of Mrs. America!

September 6 - Day Sixteen
All
of our fabulous state delegates return home to
continue their journey representing America's
outstanding married women!
One life has changed...as our 2008 Mrs. America
